Receptions were never like this

I have some other photos of the wedding reception but I felt that the entrance to the hall was the best. I actually like this style of decoration and approach - although the whole 2-3 hour long meeting & greeting would take it out of me for sure. Chandra & Roopa are still there on the stage, some 2 hours after arriving. We were just leaving ! Posted by Picasa

Wedding Meal

Went to pre-wedding reception for Chandra (CSR) and Roopa. Good meal afterwards and a coconut to bring home. Slightly worried that I am now the star of a horror movie "how not to eat with your fingers", since the wedding TV crew seemed to focus for a while.

Treadmill with a view !

Gym facility at the Goldfinch Hotel is a bit limited. Treadmill is a bit basic (but lets face it does let you run, and uphill at that), Bicycle is worse than my cheap one at home, and the multi-gym seems poor (very little range in movement).
But I think it's fair to say that it's all compensated for by the view !
And for those long-term Bangalore visitors, it's possible to see Le Meridien hotel from their also ! Posted by Picasa

Must be a habit

Poor old Kevin.
Comes out to Bangalore with me, and I always seem to get at least 1 picture of him with a beer in hand.
This is taken from the "Tavern at the Inn", in the Museum Inn just behind MG Road, Bangalore.
Museum Inn is a nice find in the centre of town as the food is not massively overpriced, but traveller standard, and they have a choice of Chinese & Indian food.
The bar is really too noisy, but has draft beer (still Kingfisher) and snack food from the Chinese & India (& chips). Turns out that the general spice level of the snacks was too much for some.
Also the only place in Bangalore I know that does a Kathi Kabab (although the wrapping wasn't to the same standard that gained me a stone in weight in Delhi !) Posted by Picasa

Style in Cutlery

Photo is from the Goldfinch Hotel, Bangalore and it's all you can eat Kabab restaurant. Just amuses me that the cutlery is so styled, when (end of the day) it's a restaurant and the biggest attractions are all-you-can-eat and the fact it's on the roof !
